Device Evaluation for Linux on Hitachi SuperH-based machines

The Hitachi superH family contain high performance RISC (reduced instruction cycle) processors. The SH3 on-wards contain advanced memory management unit and arithmetic and logic unit to be ideal Linux engines. The SH4 is used in the Sega Dreamcast games console and is reputed to be significantly better than a Pentium III for graphic image manipulation.

And it is dedicated to new implementations mostly to the SH4, the SH5 and the soon the be released SH6 (64 bit CPUs).
