PCI Busmaster Driver Mailing List Subscription Common PCI bus-mastering ASICS used in Analogue data acquisition circuits includes:
The program to write Linux device drivers for the above is open for all to participate. If you are skilled at writing device drivers for Linux or if you are experienced with these devices please subscribe to our mailing list and contribute. The name of the list is inluxBusDriver. On the left is a list of links to sites with information and 'howtos' for writing device drivers for Linux. All efforts will be distributed under the GnuPublicLicence (GPL). To apply for subscription to inlux-BusDriver please fill out the form below and press the inlux-BusDriver button. You will be contacted by email with further instructions.
Though the device driver requires only gnuC, non-C programmers ( for example C++ or JAVA programmers with GUI programming experience) are welcomed as open-source sensor user interfaces (UI) are are also needed. The type of sensors being considered are simple/common sensors such as Thermocouples, pH sensors, Humidity sensors etc. A project for example could be look-up-table algorithms (for all standard thermocouples) with various graphical outputs. The GPL toolkits QT or GTk would be used and the source instructions of the project released under the GPL. ) If you would like to make a contribution in this area please email us. |
